[edit] Numerical Software

Numerical Software, can be thought of a cross between a very powerful scientific calculator and a programming language. Some are also capable of performing symbolic manipulations and are known as Computer Algebra Systems. Many of these programs can output results in various forms, such as tables, graphs, and even sounds or animations.
